A book cover has 3 constituents (or file in the present case). The front, the back, and the binding. Many types of files interfere during the printing work. Thus, the Offset type of printing require the CMYK files named after the 4 different colors they contain (cyan magenta, yellow, black). This step is called Quadrichromy. The method is very expensive, but effective enough to produce 500 books. Finally, the printer receives the last complete file that includes the 3 constituents previously mentioned, either in one of the following format: original format or JPEG format used for the numerical type of printing. The last arrangement of the cover goes from the left to the right side. And the binding is only created at the end of the process.
