Real facts behind the publishing world

• As many people think it does, presenting your manuscript to a publisher does not make it automatically approved by that publisher.

Any publisher won't accord you automatically a contract, just because you wrote and sent a manuscript to him. Hoping that your book will be published without any of your proper investment.

A such mentality which consists to count on others when it comes to invest money, belongs to those who have not understood the reality of the actual publishing world.

Also, the self-publishing concept means that the author is totally held responsible for every expenses that might occur during the entire process of publishing his book. And we all know that the risk is terrifically high in such technique.

But here, at Melonic Publishing, we (publisher and author) share the responsibility and risks all together . And there is no doubt that both parties will consequently receive 100% of satisfaction guarantee in return on the investment.

Statistics shown bellow are alarming, but true:

• 95 % of the people are rejected by the publishers.

• 4 % are approved, but have to pay a fortune.

•  1 % are approved because they are famous.

• 0,001 % (1 of 100 000) live by their own income.

The chart below indicates the author's part of investment in the printing

(Remember, there is a basic cost for the publishing)

Be advised that a library will only keep between 100 and 200 books of a non famous author. We know it by experience. Therefore, don't fall into the illusion that we will make fortune from the libraries.

But a book signing, as we mentioned early, is the key to liquidate your book considerably with more profit and without any risk than it would be by sending your book to the library. Because nobody can prophesize who the authors will be famous and who won't.

specifically, in order to make $1000 of profit from the library without any of your investment in the printing process, you need to sell more than 500 books and to have 1500 more in stock. But, since the library doesn't accept more than 200 books of a non famous author, so you need to ask yourself these following questions:

How much money is needed to print 1500 books?  Who will make more profit with it?

It's certainly not the author, not the publisher either.
